Troyer Sparrow Door Tunnel- 1-ΒΌ" Entrance
A simple way to turn a compatible Troyer gourd into a dedicated House Sparrow trapping location.
The Troyer Sparrow Door Tunnel is designed specifically for trapping House Sparrows in compatible Troyer gourds. The tunnel features a 1-1/4" round entrance that allows House Sparrows to enter while preventing Purple Martins and starlings from using the opening.
Simply replace the existing Troyer tunnel with the Sparrow Door Tunnel to create a dedicated trapping entrance. When used with a Troyer-Haskell Tunnel Trap (THTT), the gourd becomes an effective live-trapping location for House Sparrows.
How It Works
Why a 1-1/4" Entrance?
The smaller 1-1/4" round entrance is intended specifically for House Sparrow trapping. Purple Martins and starlings are unable to enter through the opening, helping reduce the chance of capturing a Purple Martin while the Sparrow Door is being used.

Live Trap Compatible
The Troyer Sparrow Door Tunnel is designed for use with the Troyer-Haskell Tunnel Trap (THTT). The THTT is a live trap, allowing any non-target bird that may be captured to be released unharmed.
