The Gourd Rack 8-Unit is top-of the line in construction and innovative design. It features our four-part rope and pulley system which will vertically lift and lower the hub section without the hub turning, with ease. Includes the 2-inch square 14-foot tall pole, aluminum heavy-duty ground stake, two solid 48" long top perch rods, the aluminum hub with installed glide buttons, unique U-like gourd-hanging arms with 8 horizontal gourd mounting arms, rope cleat, a pole cap and stainless hardware. Manufactured in Pennsylvania by the Troyer's, this gourd rack is superior in quality and craftsmanship. Available to bundle with your favorite starling-resistant gourd.

Features: It features a four-part pulley system for easy raising and lowering. The gourd arms slip easily onto the provided Gourd Mounting Arms. The all-aluminum hub has nylon glide tabs for squeak-free operation. Also included; eight Horizontal Straight Gourd Mounting Arms, 45-feet of polyester rope; an aluminum rope cleat; and a 2-inch-square aluminum pole assembly with a plastic pyramid pole cap and two solid 3/8" top perch rods.

Materials: Aluminum pole, aluminum ground stake, aluminum hub, aluminum braces, aluminum arm. Eight high-strength 3/8" solid aluminum gourd mounting arms.

Pole Dimensions: Includes the two-inch square high-tensile strength two-piece aluminum pole and stands 14-feet above the ground when installed. Square poles are superior in strength to round martin poles.

Gourd Arms: Eight 3/8" solid aluminum horizontal straight Gourd Mounting Arms The horizontal gourd mounting arms have a drilled hole at the end of the arm. Slip your gourd onto the arm and insert your supplied stainless hitch pin. The pin will keep your gourd from falling off.

Gourd Accommodation: Any plastic or natural gourd can be fitted to these horizontal-style gourd arms. If your gourds are not already drilled front-to-back in the upper neck, use a 13/32" drill bit to enlarge the hanging holes. SuperGourds have a drill guide in the neck of the gourd.

Four-part pulley system: Each of the pulleys carries a 1/4 of the load. If your 8 gourds and hub weigh a total of 40 pounds, you are pulling around 10 pounds. Always wear a good pair of grippy gloves when raising or lowering any gourd rack.

Originally designed by Creative Universe Ent., this product has been continued by the Troyer's Birds' Paradise, better than ever!

Easy Assembly.

Upgradeable: Unfortunately, this gourd rack is NOT upgradeable. You can however, reuse the pole and pole parts and purchase one of gourd rack kits for two-inch square poles

Q: Can 1 person put this pole and rack up themselves?

A: I could assemble and install the pole myself. The ground stake installation would be the most difficult as a hole needs to dug and the ground stake (included with gourd rack) needs to be cemented into the ground.
