Round Rack 12 Unit Gourd Rack (#RR12H)
The Round Gourd Rack is top-of the line in construction and innovative design. It features our four-part rope and pulley system which will vertically lift and lower the hub section without the hub turning, with ease.
Includes the 2-inch square 14-foot tall pole
, aluminum heavy-duty ground stake, two solid 48" long top perch rods, the aluminum hub with installed glide buttons, one aluminum complete ring section, aluminum support braces, 12 aluminum horizontal Gourd Mounting Arms, rope cleat, a pole cap and stainless hardware. Manufactured in Pennsylvania by the Troyer's, this gourd rack is superior in quality and craftsmanship. Available to bundle with your favorite starling-resistant gourd.

It features a four-part pulley system for easy raising and lowering; a five-foot diameter all aluminum ring, aluminum support beams.
The all-aluminum hub has nylon glide tabs for squeak-free operation plus
twelve Horizontal 90 Gourd Mounting Arms; 45-feet of polyester rope; an aluminum rope cleat; and a 2-inch-square aluminum pole assembly with a plastic pole cap and two solid 3/8" top perch rods.
Materials:
Aluminum pole, heavy-duty aluminum ground stake, aluminum hub, five-foot diameter aluminum ring, aluminum support beams, assembled with stainless steel hardware, provided.
Pole Dimensions
: Two-inch square high-tensile strength two-piece aluminum pole and stands 14-feet above the ground when installed.
Square poles are superior in strength to round martin poles.
Gourd Mounting Arms
: Twelve 3/8" solid aluminum horizontal 90 Gourd Mounting Arms (GMA's). GMA's are small gourd pins which bolt on to the rings or the angle arms. The Horizontal Gourd Mounting Arms have a drilled hole at the end of the arm. Slip your gourd onto the pin and insert your supplied stainless hitch pin. The pin will keep your gourd from falling off.
Gourd Accommodation:
Any plastic or natural gourd can be fitted to these horizontal-style Gourd Mounting Arms, whose neck does not exceed 3". If your gourds are not already drilled front to back in the upper neck, use a 13/32" drill bit to enlarge the hanging holes. SuperGourds have a drill guide in the neck of the gourd.
Four-part pulley system:
Each of the pulleys carries a 1/4 of the load. If your 12 gourds and hub weigh a total of 80 pounds, you are pulling around 20 pounds. Always wear a good pair of grippy gloves when raising or lowering any gourd rack.

We purchase this rack and gourd combo in December 2019. Thinking ahead for 2021 season I am interested in purchasing a winch conversion kit for it. Which is recommended for this particular rack? I am looking at the winch with worm gear.

A:
When converting a Round Rack from rope to cable with winch you choose the "Convert-A-Rack" #CAR option. Either winch is compatible with the convert a rack, though I am very partial to the worm gear winch. You will need to own a cordless drill in order to use a worm gear winch.
Please note when converting from rope and pulley to cable with winch the only pole guard you can use is the EZ OFF.

I have a Gemini round gourd pole system with one round section for adding gourds. I would like to add another round attachment to my pole. What would be the cost for the pole attachment and the round section for adding the gourds. I do not need the pole. My pole is 2” square

A:
We do not offer an add on to the Round Rack. It would be too much stress on a 2" square pole. We only offer the Gemini, which is a two-tiered "round rack" and it uses the 3" square pole.
