Poly T-14 House with White Roof:
Made with Poly and AZAK for outstanding durability
No painting of the house needed
Poly-roof is 5-8" thick. Body of house uses ½" thick material
White Roof
Conley II entrance
Hinges, hooks, eyes made from stainless or aluminum, will never rust!
Bolts and wing nuts stainless, will never rust!
Big compartments (6-½” W x 6” H x 11” L)
Owl-resistant
Lowers vertically so the clutches of eggs are not disturbed
No door lips, designed for proper clean outs.
Offset holes eliminate double nests
Single porches for greater percent of occupancy
Sections all open in the front. This allows you to care for newly hatched babies and at the same time you don’t disturb the older babies in the same section

T-14 Pole:
Three-piece pole
Bottom section has square cut ends and is 84"
Middle section has a square cut end and the opposite end has the splice to go into the bottom section. It is also 84" overall
Top section has the pulley slot and is 24"

72-inch solid aluminum perching rods
Stainless set screws to secure the rods into the ball top
Heavy-duty aluminum ground stake
Material is a 1/8 inch thick wall, T51 temper aluminum

Q:
Do you make a longer socket. I have found that 2' cemented isn't enough and the poles sometimes need to be straightened every time a strong random storm comes through. I'm unable to monitor the house at all times making it difficult to predict weather and lower the houses.

A:
All the ground stakes are made the same length. It sounds like you have poor soil conditions if your racks are shifting. If this is the case, you need to make a larger hole in circumference. It really does make a difference.

Q:
Would like to get a Purple Martin house package set up this fall for occupancy next spring but it appears many products sold out, not available. What’s available right now? There is a large gourd type set up a few houses down from mine, I would like to go with a house type setup, entire package, what do you recommend? Thanks

How deep does the pole have to be?

A:
The pole is not cemented into the ground, you are provided with a ground stake. the ground stake is 48" overall. You cement 24" in the ground leaving 24" above ground. Once your cement has hardened, you will slip your assembled pole over the ground stake sitting on the concrete pad. are the insides of the poly wood houses poly as well? The cedar houses really keep temperatures down, in your opinion do you think the poly stays cool as well as the cedar?

A:
A poly-wood house is all poly-wood, inside and out. Cedar wood acts as a natural insulator and is ideal for landlords where your springs are cooler. Cedar needs to be painted, the poly-wood does not. You can add an insulation factor to poly-wood houses by using the wooden T-14 trays.
